Recently, on my Custodial Worker Resource website, I had been adding some resources for those thinking of breaking off and starting up their own cleaning businesses.

The main core of custodian.info is and will remain for the custodial worker. For those employees needing these resources; information, a forum- place to voice their concerns and share with each other.

Anyway, back to the the topic of websites and cleaning businesses. Since I am unemployed and the shoulder is still keeping me out of my line of work I am offering my abilities to those with their own businesses who might need a website. I know how to build and set up websites and am available to take on web projects now. My rates will be very reasonable…probably the lowest you’ll find anywhere. If any of you need to get a site put up and would like to consider hiring me - send me an email!  To see the kind of work I have done you may take a look at one I created and donated to a non-profit: The Honor Foundation.

And here’s a nice simple, easy on the eyes one I did for barter: Orthotic Store and of course The Custodial Worker Resource

Since I am familiar with the cleaning industry, after working many years as a custodial worker, that to be creating sites for cleaning businesses might be worth a try, eh?I have it set up so I can aquire decent hosting for indivuals for 7.00 per month and can get domain names for around 12.00 per year. On my site: HERE you can find out more about what I would charge to build a site, see more of the styles I can do and find out a bit more about what goes into getting a website going.

Ergonomics and Proper Tools for the Job

A couple years ago I found online a business that sells ergonomic mop handles.
These are designed to eliminate some of the problems associated with the repetitive motion in mopping.
Especially good design for those required to mop huge areas or rough surfaces such as those found in industrial kitchens. The write up stated something about saving workers from shoulder injuries…
I remember emailing both my manager and the head custodian at the time with the information I had found regarding the mop handles, but received no response at all from either of them.On my website for custodial workers a member has brought up some points regarding ergonomic equipment. If you’d like to read more try the site’s forum. Here’s the address: http://s10.invisionfree.com/custodian/
