INJURED ON THE JOB and not allowed medical care?

On the job injury issues? Anybody with similar problem to mine? L and I issues, worker’s comp, managed care, IME’s…Injured on the job and Independent Medical Examiners (IME) reports thru a worker’s comp service keeping me from care and treatment. For over a year now and still in pain with loss of movement. The worker’s comp company was contracted by my past employer to keep L and I costs down (like an HMO?) They have made it nearly impossible for an injured worker to get proper treatment.

If you have a story like mine I would like to communicate. I would like to collect as much data as possible related to this. Remaining anonymous is ok.

I have a lawyer now, but advice and exchanges of information might help us all. Perhaps I should dedicate a new website for this? Comments? Ever had to get a lawyer to try to get past these inhumane hurdles? Anyone have success?
